So life starts in a new world, new to explore, well lets see what's around.
Trees, fantastic, lets start cutting them up and make a crafting table! What's this? Less wood? Darn means I gotta get more wood it seems!
Well the crafting table still works so let's use it! I need an axe, sword, spade, pickaxe for basic survival
Good old spade!
Aawww no axe of wood!
Nor any pickaxe, well that's life! It means we gotta go off and find us some flint to make a flintaxe. So after some work I found some gravel
And with digging we get flint at which we can make our flintaxe
Now we can cut trees, rocks however we cannot dig with this so how do we resolve this? well we find a crater from an asteroid which will contain our first metal, Astrum! That we can deal with.
After some work I found a hole in the ground from the impact and as we can see, plenty of astrum so let's dig some out. You may wonder, how are we going to smelt it if we cannot get stone to make a furnace? well we can make a wooden furnace!
It works like an ordinary furnace, with the differens that after some usage it will break so no point in over using it. Well let's open the furnace!
The colour may be different but I garantuee it is the the same as the primary furnace in minecraft, it looks different doesn't it? The four slots to the left are burning slots, the more fuel you put in, the faster things will cook, the right slider on the other hand is temperature gauge. Everything that goes into a furnace requires a temperature to cook and if you don't have that temperature the furnace must work up to the temperature before cooking takes place, so try to get as much as possible in a single go, it decreases fuel usage! Now anyhow we have our ingots, make a pickaxe, right?
Unfortunately not, no pickaxe is made with ingots like that anymore, no tool of metals are but rather we use nuggets. To get nuggets we need a hammer and an anvil, how do we get the hammer first? This way
With this hammer can we now mine stone, not metals but stone can be mined so we get cobblestone to make a primitive stone anvil.
Now from here can we make nuggets of metals, any metal we find!
Just the anvil, isn't it beautiful?
Anvil interface, the top slot you see the hammer in, it must always contain A hammer of ANY sort for the anvil to generate items, each time you grab an item the hammer will get more damage until it finally breaks and you need a new one, otherwise it's pretty much the same in usage with recipies. As we see here, we get 6 nuggets for each ingot. From here the recipies are the same for tools, except nuggets instead of ingots.
After this you can start digging into the ground and get more metals! Not all are currently used with all tools but they are on their way, good luck surviving!
